Aside from the unexpected cancellation of "Oprah's Big Give" which would have been renewed had Oprah allowed it, reality programs faired well in the new ABC fall schedule. Returnees "Dancing With the Stars," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "America's Funniest Home Videos," "Wife Swap" and "Supernanny" all made the fall lineup along with new game/reality hybrid "Opportunity Knocks" from Ashton Kutcher.
"The Bachelor" won't air this fall but will be back in winter/spring 2009. The fates of "Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann" and "Here Come the Newlyweds" remain undetermined. A new Ashton Kutcher/Tyra Banks-created reality series will also premiere midseason.
